The Small Sounds is an understanding among friends that incorporates various elements of folk, rock, alt-country, indie, and retro-pop around the song writing of Holden Rushing, Tommy Ramsey, Craig Feazel, and James Thompson. The six piece multi-instrumentalists hail from Houston and Austin.
March1, 2008 Update : The Small Sounds first full length album is nearing completion and is due out in early spring of 2008. The album’s working title is “Mexican Warfare” and will feature the bands core members, along with several special guests including Jeff Lerner, Jason Healy, Mead Turner, Katie Stuckey, and Mark Riddell.
